Gas Tariff

Gas, sorted. Electricity, transformed.

We're primarily a dynamic electricity company — but we know switching only works when you can bring everything with you. So we've added a simple, fixed-rate gas tariff. One bill. One supplier. Done.

Why bundle with 10s

Three very good reasons.

We're not going to pretend gas is exciting 😀 But these three things genuinely make life easier.

One bill, not two

Your gas and electricity land on a single monthly statement. One payment, one login, one set of meter readings. That's it.

No mid-winter surprises

Fixed means fixed. Your gas unit rate won't change for the duration of your contract, so you can budget with confidence all year round.

The electricity stays smart

Adding gas doesn't water down your electricity contract. You still get the full dynamic tariff — real-time prices, smart scheduling, the lot.

Four steps. Done in minutes.

Adding gas to your 10s contract takes about as long as making a cup of tea.

Gas bundled vs. gas separate.

It's not a huge thing. But the small annoyances add up.

FAQ

A few things people ask.

01. Is the gas tariff dynamic too?

No — and we wouldn't want it to be. Gas consumption is harder to shift in real time, so a fixed rate makes far more sense for most households. The clever dynamic pricing is for electricity only. That's where it genuinely moves the needle.

02. Can I get gas without getting electricity from you?

Not with us, no. Our gas tariff is a bundle — it's designed to complement a 10s electricity contract, not replace it. If you're only looking for a gas supplier, you'd honestly be better off with one of the specialist providers.

03. Is gas available everywhere in Belgium?

Natural gas availability in Belgium depends on whether your home is connected to the gas network — which isn't universal, particularly in newer developments or some rural areas. If you're on the network, we can supply you. Not sure? Your local distribution system operator (Fluvius in Flanders, ORES in Wallonia) can confirm your connection status.

04. What happens at the end of my 12 month gas contract?

We'll be in touch before your contract expires with renewal options. If rates have changed, we'll tell you upfront. You're never automatically rolled onto something worse without warning — that's not how we do things.

05. Do I need a smart meter for gas?

Not necessarily — we accept both smart and traditional meters. A smart meter does make things more convenient (no manual reads, more accurate billing), and if you don't already have one, we can arrange an installation as part of your onboarding.

06. Is this available now?

We're in our early bird phase — which means you can sign up now to secure your spot and your early bird rate. Gas contracts will go live alongside our electricity contracts when we launch in your area. Join the list below and we'll keep you posted.

Not included in any figure above

Neither the standard dynamic nor the 10s Smart costs include the supplier's commercial margin. The fixed market reference already embeds a typical margin — the dynamic figures do not.

Belgian dynamic tariff providers typically charge €0.015–0.025/kWh above spot plus an annual fee of approximately €50–80/yr (Luminus: €0.021/kWh + €75/yr; Engie: spot × coefficient + fixed constant).
